This 1986 Chevrolet Silverado K10 4×4 is an outstanding example of Chevrolet’s iconic square-body pickup. Finished in an eye-catching black and red two-tone color scheme, this desirable regular-cab, short-bed, four-wheel-drive Silverado has recently undergone a complete body-off, nut-and-bolt concours restoration completed in early 2026. Every component of the truck was restored, rebuilt, refinished, or replaced as required, resulting in a presentation that rivals or exceeds showroom condition.

Power is provided by a professionally rebuilt 350ci Chevrolet V8 equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case driving all four wheels. The engine bay has been restored to an exceptionally high standard and presents beautifully, combining classic Chevrolet appearance with increased performance over the factory powerplant. Factory equipment includes power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, a sliding rear window, Rally wheels, locking front hubs, a chrome rear step bumper, and an AM/FM stereo.

The restoration was carried out without compromise. The body was removed from the frame, allowing the chassis, suspension, steering, braking system, drivetrain, fuel system, cooling system, electrical system, hardware, weatherstripping, trim, and brightwork to be completely restored. Virtually every component was either restored or replaced, and the truck presents to concours standards throughout.

The paintwork exhibits exceptional depth and gloss with laser-straight body panels, excellent panel fit, and beautifully restored chrome and trim. The underbody and chassis were finished to the same meticulous standard as the exterior, reflecting the quality of the restoration.

The interior has been restored with equal attention to detail, featuring correct upholstery, carpeting, dashboard components, trim, and interior finishes. The cabin presents as new while retaining the timeless character of Chevrolet’s square-body trucks. The air conditioning blows ice cold, all gauges and accessories function properly, and the truck has been fully sorted and is ready to be enjoyed.

Accompanying the truck are the owner’s manual, warranty booklet, maintenance schedule, Sherwood stereo documentation, Gold Card radiator warranty paperwork, the original Service Parts Identification label, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

Square-body Chevrolet pickups have become some of the most desirable American collector trucks of the 1980s. A freshly completed, concours-quality body-off restoration of this caliber is seldom offered, making this K10 an exceptional opportunity for collectors seeking one of the finest examples available.
