Gem Classic Cars is pleased to offer this exceptionally honest and remarkably well-preserved 120HP 1937 Packard One-Twenty Touring Sedan finished in an exceptionally attractive deep Packard Blue and accompanied by remarkable historical documentation, this 1937 Packard One-Twenty Touring Sedan represents an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire a highly original prewar American Classic.

According to the vehicle’s serial plate, this Packard was delivered new by Standard Auto Company of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, in September 1937. Even more remarkably, the car is accompanied by a copy of its original Pennsylvania title showing ownership in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, providing a rare and desirable link to its earliest history.

The current owner acquired the Packard in April 1980 and has remained its caretaker for the past 46 years. Such long-term ownership is seldom encountered today and helps explain the car’s unusually authentic character and preservation.

Powered by Packard’s renowned smooth-running straight-eight engine, the car retains a wonderfully original appearance throughout. The engine compartment presents as an honest, unrestored space, still displaying many factory details including the oil-bath air cleaner, dual trumpet horns, original-style components, and decades of careful preservation rather than cosmetic over-restoration.

The body remains exceptionally attractive in its dark blue finish, complemented by wide whitewall tires and correct Packard styling. The spacious sedan body offers the elegance and road presence that established Packard as one of America’s premier luxury automobile manufacturers during the 1930s.

Included with the sale are copies of the original Pennsylvania title, later Vermont documentation, and ownership records supporting the car’s long and traceable history.

A highly appealing prewar Packard combining attractive presentation, long-term ownership, documented provenance, and the enduring charm of Packard’s legendary straight-eight-powered One-Twenty series.
