Rob Borkowski and I built the car using Kar kraft, Holman and Moody and Hexcel prints.
All of the cast parts , including wheels were oem parts purchased when Holman and Moody sold out in the late 80s.
The transaxle is to be left over from the original production.
The engine was built by a local engine builder. The drysump oil system needs special tooling to install it into the engine. The engine does have more HP than the original cars.
Rob Borkowski built the car with me and was instrumental in getting finished.. He was an instructor at the GM collision center in Chicago and is now retired.
The honeycomb panels were built by Hexcel.
This project was started by Rick Nagel and there were enough panels made to build 4 cars.
At the time Nagel owned the car Mario crashed at Lemans and some of the panels were used to repair that car.
The gearbox was converted to dog gears by Jerico for strength and more optional gearing.
The car is using an impressive number of original parts from Holman and Moody and following precisely the original blue prints that were in his procession. 
It is a complete and accurate reconstruction of the original car. It is the first one ever reproduced and is exact in every way to the original car.
The car was vintage raced in USA and is very welcome in the Daytona Classics.
Being 27 years old it now shows a fantastic original patina.
Originally red with the racing number 61, it was repainted by the current owner in 2014 in the same colors Black/White as the prototype.
